The Wingsec fire blanket is an essential safety solution designed for quickly extinguishing small-scale fires. It is ideal for use in home kitchens, small commercial kitchens (such as cafés), workplace breakrooms, and various workshop environments.
This fire blanket is particularly effective against cooking oil fires involving pots and pans, offering one of the safest and fastest response methods. In addition, it can be used to wrap around a person if clothing catches fire, helping to extinguish flames and support safe self-rescue.
The blanket is housed in a durable rigid storage case equipped with dual hanging straps for easy wall mounting. Clear, step-by-step instructions are printed on the case to ensure quick and correct use during emergencies. Manufactured from high-quality satin-weave fiberglass fabric, the product has been rigorously tested in accordance with AS/NZS 3504:2006 and certified by SAI Global, ensuring reliable performance and consistent quality. It is backed by a 12-month warranty.
Fire blankets are designed and manufactured to the BS EN 1869:1997 standards. They are fully tested by BSI and certified to Kite mark. Fire Blankets when draped over a fire, the blanket cuts out the oxygen, leading to rapid fire extinction. They are available in three different size of 1.1m x1.1m, 1.2mx1.2m and 1.2mx1.8m and other sizes are available upon request. The containers are simple to use with pull tabs to release the blanket.
