The Wingsec fire blanket is an essential safety solution designed for quickly extinguishing small-scale fires. It is ideal for use in home kitchens, small commercial kitchens (such as cafés), workplace breakrooms, and various workshop environments.
This fire blanket is particularly effective against cooking oil fires involving pots and pans, offering one of the safest and fastest response methods. In addition, it can be used to wrap around a person if clothing catches fire, helping to extinguish flames and support safe self-rescue.
The blanket is housed in a durable rigid storage case equipped with dual hanging straps for easy wall mounting. Clear, step-by-step instructions are printed on the case to ensure quick and correct use during emergencies. Manufactured from high-quality satin-weave fiberglass fabric, the product has been rigorously tested in accordance with AS/NZS 3504:2006 and certified by SAI Global, ensuring reliable performance and consistent quality. It is backed by a 12-month warranty.
The fire blanket works by smothering the fire, cutting off the oxygen supply and causing the flames to extinguish naturally while preventing further spread. The blanket is secured in its pouch with a Velcro closure system. For deployment, simply pull down the two quick-release tabs to remove the blanket. To use, unfold the blanket, hold the tabs firmly, and gently place it over the fire source.
