Polyurethane Coated Fabric Introduction
Wingsec polyurethane (PU) coated fiberglass fabric is made from high-strength E-glass filament yarn in a 3732 twill weave base cloth. It is coated on both sides with a specially formulated PU layer, providing excellent performance in fire resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, oil resistance, and splash protection.
The total weight is 460gsm, with a base fabric weight of 425gsm and a thickness of 0.4mm, plus 30gsm PU coating on each side. This material can withstand instantaneous temperatures up to 1100°C, making it ideal for welding splash protection blankets, curtains, and industrial heat shielding applications.

Advantages of Fiberglass Cloth
Fiberglass fabric remains the most commonly used reinforcement material in the composites industry. Fiberglass is the lowest-cost and easiest to process of all reinforcement materials. Furthermore, when combined with resin, fiberglass fabric offers strength, light weight, and excellent appearance.
When selecting industrial fiberglass fabric, many specific parameters need to be considered. These parameters can be categorized into four basic variables: yarn weight, warp count, weave pattern, and fabric surface treatment.
The wide variation in fiberglass yarn weight and warp count provides the basis for fabric design. Together, yarn weight and warp count determine the fabric's strength, weight, and thickness.
Fiberglass fabric is manufactured using basic weave types. There are five basic weave patterns for industrial fiberglass fabric: plain, twill, satin, leno, and basket weave.
The fabric structure is determined by the number of warp and weft yarns per inch of fabric and the weave pattern.
The surface treatment of fiberglass fabric is important. Most applications require the use of a coating material with the fiberglass fabric. For compatibility with resin coating, organic coating or post-treatment, perform surface treatment.
