HT2025 Texturized Fiberglass Cloth Protective Heat Treated Fiberglass Cloth For Metalworking
Wingsec Heat Treated Fiberglass Introduction
Our range of high-temperature insulation textiles includes products for a variety of industrial applications, such as fiberglass fabrics.
These fabrics are made of fiberglass and can be finished with various treatments and coatings to meet specific application requirements. A caramelization treatment removes fibers from the fabric surface, improving its performance and heat resistance. This desensitizing treatment also helps reduce fumes generated at elevated temperatures. This caramelized fiberglass fabric, marketed in France and for export, is an innovative, high-performance textile used in the manufacture of protective and insulating equipment and solutions. It meets the specific needs and constraints of professionals in the industrial and construction sectors.

Key Features
Caramelised glass fabric is composed of 100% type “E” glass fibre. This non-combustible, insulating material can resist a peak temperature of 600°C. It is natural and not harmful to human health or the environment. This fibre also has these advantages :
- sterilised ;
- resistant to oils, solvents and other chemical products ;
- inorganic ;
- with good compressibility;
- resistant to vibration and abrasion.
Furthermore, it doesn’t give off smoke. It is therefore a high-performance technical textile, with interesting properties for industrial applications requiring high mechanical and thermal resistance. This caramelized glass fabric is also highly effective in reducing smoke emissions in the event of a fire. This is why it is used in the manufacture of fire protection solutions.
